• Perennials like lupine, peonies, bleeding heart, columbine, mint, yarrow, delphinium

• Hardy annuals: bupleurum, nigella, bachelor’s buttons, sweet william, ranunculus

• Annuals: a few varieties of cress, snapdragons, feverfew
