This week, the garden exploded! Tulips are out in full force, daffodils and forsythia are out, and I made my first 5-minute hand tied bouquet of the year. I love making hand-tied bouquets (think prom, weddings, etc.), but I hadn’t played around with making practice bouquets regularly in a while. This year I’ll take 5 minutes each week to build a bouquet without the pressure on myself to have a wedding-level bouquet to send out the door. It’ll be fun, and a good measure of what’s in bloom.
In the garden, I spread lots of compost, planted 50 willows, got large sections mulched again with my best helpers, and generally got ready for Easter flowers and the chaos of April & May!
